Featured in our YouTube series. These twin tanks were custom-made for a 28′ Pursuit offshore fishing boat. Designed to extend the range of the boat and provide fuel security during 200-mile offshore fishing trips. The tanks are constructed from 3/16″ thick 5052 Aluminum. The internal baffle system helps prevent fuel sloshing and increases the tank strength substantially. The twin tanks are connected by a 1.5″ OD flexible hose at the bottom of the system. x2 3/8″ NPT primary fuel picks are provided. One on each tank. There is an optional 1/4″ NPT kicker motor fuel pickup located on the port tank. 3/8″ NPT breather fittings are installed on each tank. Provided is the Moeller fuel sender with a mounting plate. The fuel fill is located on the Port tank and is the industry standard 1.5″ OD 90 deg connection. Delrin insulators are provided so 1/2″ Stainless Steel mounting bolts can be used without galvanic corrosion taking place.
